President Nixon had two speeches prepared – one for success and one for failure, in case the astronauts were stranded on the moon.

The Brief
This infographic poster was an assignment with the aim to display information in a pleasing and informative manner. To this end, I used icons and color groups taken from an illustration of the moon lander I created based on the photographs taken to create groups of information. I covered information about the Apollo 11 mission, the astronauts involved, what they “left behind” on the moon, and what the reactions of people back on Earth were.
The combination of the typography, the illustration, and the icons help to lead viewers around a minimalist poster that really helps highlight portions of the Apollo 11 mission that I found interesting and informative from the research I conducted for this project.
